NFL Week 13 Spread Picks

Last week: 5-10-1
Season: 87-85-4

New Orleans at Atlanta (-3.5)

Analysis: The Falcons’ lone loss came
at the hands of the Saints in Week 10, 28-24. It was the 11th
win in the last 13 meetings by New Orleans in this one-sided rivalry,
and heading into tonight the Saints’ season is on the line while
Atlanta is cruising towards homefield advantage in the playoffs. The
question, as usual, is what quarterback will take over the game. Drew
Brees and Matt Ryan have both had recent off days, with Brees
struggling against the 49ers last week and Ryan throwing five picks
in his last home start against Arizona. Smart money is on Brees to
pick apart the Falcons secondary because Atlanta lacks a strong pass
rush. As this series has been dominated by New Orleans lately, it’s
hard to imagine the Saints rolling over in a desperation game. This
one should come down to the wire. Saints.
