NFL Picks Week 3 — Can Ravens Finish the Job at Arrowhead This Time Around?

Lamar Jackson suffered his only regular-season loss at Arrowhead Stadium in 2018.

Alright, so now it’s Week 3, which means I should have a little more of a feel for this 2019 NFL season. We’ll find out, because I’m going to pick my first games of the year:

Baltimore at Kansas City (-5.5)

So close, yet so far away. Last year the Ravens almost pulled the upset, which would have ultimately netted Baltimore a first-round bye. Alas, they lost in OT, 27-24. But they should have enough to at least hang with the Chiefs again this year. Pick: Ravens.

Carolina at Arizona (-2)

No Cam? No problem… for Arizona, that is. Kyler Murray has a chance to outgun the Panthers without their QB, and give the Cards credit for two close calls despite no wins thus far. Pick: Cardinals.

L.A. Rams (-3.5) at Cleveland

Can the Browns do it in prime-time against a legit team? We’ll find out, but getting crushed by the Titans might have been the best thing that could have happened to them. Look for the Browns to hang tough in their first SNF game since 2008. Pick: Browns.
