Week 4 Picks: Off to a Winning Start

I went 2-1 last week, only missing on the Patriots because they rarely lose two in a row. Truth is, they NEVER lose three in a row. The last time in happened was in 2002. So, good luck, Dolphins. Without further ado, here are my picks:

Miami at New England (-6.5)

I know I picked the Patriots last week, but no WAY they lose three in a row. It might be close, but the Dolphins have never beaten Tom Brady in a meaningful game in New England. Miami is off to a 3-0 start, but this is a perfect time for them to come back to earth. Pick: Patriots.

Houston at Indianapolis (-1)

The Texans are just plain awful right now, and the Colts have played solid football the last two weeks. Here’s thinking Andrew Luck at home is just a little bit better than a DeShaun Watson who clearly has not returned to form after tearing his ACL last November. Pick: Colts.

Cleveland at Oakland (-3)

Really like the Raiders here. Baker Mayfield’s first career start won’t have nearly the same energy and emotion as his home debut, and the Raiders have been close every week against solid teams. This feels like a Browns letdown after their first win in 635 days. Pick: Raiders.
