NFL Week 13 Picks: Happy Turkey Day!

This year I’m only giving one “confident” pick for Thanksgiving, and it’s the Super Bowls XXVII and XXVIII rematch, Bills-Cowboys. More picks to come on Sunday…

Season:   8-8 (.500)

Buffalo (buying to +7 at -130) at Dallas

The Cowboys ought to be ashamed of themselves for how they choked at the end against the Patriots, but what did you expect with such a coaching mismatch? And who knows this feeling better than the Bills? But, I digress. The Cowboys are overhyped. The Bills haven’t beaten any teams currently in a playoff position, with only one win over a team with a winning record (Tennessee). Still, that’s better than Dallas, who has exactly zero wins over winning teams. Even if the ‘Boys turn it around on the short week, they’ll have their work cut out for them with a stingy Bills defense. Buffalo will need something out of Josh Allen, but this team is on a pretty good roll right now and it feels like all the pressure is on Big D. Pick: Bills.
